I can't write external links. It leads to a browser-specific "remote server not found" page. --Printz 20:52, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Do you get it when trying to save, or when trying to preview, or both? Obviously it worked for me so it's not a general error. It might be a question of permission, but other non-admin people haven't had this problem before. I suppose if one of the antispam measures (maybe ConfirmEdit) uses data from an external site, and that other site is offline, then maybe that error could happen -- but it should only affect the embedded captcha or whatever, not the whole page. So, I dunno. --Gez 22:56, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Twice, I previewed and attempted to save, but I also tried directly saving.--Printz 00:29, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Doom Wiki

I'm not sure if the Doom Wiki is expected to contain more information on this article. This project is among those which are better known by ZDoomers than the Doom community at large, and would go in the same notability category as all those ZDoom (mod) projects which get articles here.--Printz 18:34, 16 February 2012 (UTC)

The template is just there to say there's also an article on the Doom Wiki. It's boilerplate. It gives more referrals to the good wiki URL and stuff. There are many other articles here with that same thing, where the corresponding Doom Wiki article does not actually contain more information... But it's also not a problem; because the article here is going to be "ToB as a ZDoom derivative" whereas over there it's going to be "ToB as a source port (based on ZDoom)". The viewpoint is subtly different. For example, if ToB actually catches up, it could find its way in the DoomWikiLogoIcon.pngcomparison of source ports page, there are different category systems, etc. So, there's still more info to be found there, even if not directly in the meat of the article but in indirect things like the "What links here" special page and the categories used.
Same for the mod projects. They are more likely to have more information on them on the Doom Wiki because then it'll contain stuff like separate pages for maps, etc. --Gez 20:02, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
