|Jason the Echidna only visited the ZDoom community briefly, unfortunately. He is a semi-genius child with Asperger's Syndrome, gifted with the ability to learn anything with unimaginable speed, creativity, and skill so long as it is in the realm of his natural obsessions. The only ZDoom-related project JTE completed and released here is [[ZBattleship]]. JTE came to ZDoom from [http://www.srb2.org SRB2] where he learned to wad and program, then moved on to programming [http://www.kidradd.com Kid Radd] from scratch. Last this page was updated, JTE was using [http://www.imvu.com/catalog/web_registration.php?userId=22075 IMVU] to learn more about 3D modeling and animation simply by creating things and selling them for mere pocket change.
|Jason the Echidna is a rather odd fellow. He spends all of his time working on SRB2JTE among other SRB2-related things such as level wads and SOC edits... He is ''the'' Echidna to talk to about SRB2 things, knowing it inside and out.
|rowspan=3|What is this SRB2 and SPMoves stuff which Jason seems so fond of? It is a mod of Doom Legacy which has been over 7 years in the making, located at [http://www.SRB2.org SRB2.org]. SPMoves is Jason's first programming project which added tons of special abilitys to SRB2 as well as a full range of seasons, about 10 maps, secrets, multiplayer easter egg hunting, and more. SPMoves is no longer available, though demand for it won't cease until Jason gets SRB2JTE up beyond it in greatness.

|Jason is skilled in all forms of wadding and programming and he is certainly one of the greatest programmers in the SRB2 community, though he does not do any official work. However, most of the time you can consider anything he tells you to be completely accurate unless he states otherwise, no matter how odd it seems. Even though Jason's skill extends into all realms of wad creation, he has a special interest in programming, as wadding alone does not allow him to express himself exactly the way he wants to.

|His trademark battle cry is "''I am of the elite species of the Echidna!''" and it has been repeated to the point where you could do a google search on it and find everywhere he has ever been. In fact, you may hear Jason say it himself in his SPMoves character, which featured a full set of voice samples from him. Surely the phrase will even show up in SRB2JTE and possibly some ZDoom wad eventually.
