NeuralStunner, also known as Neural, NS, or Enness, is a (too) frequent poster on the ZDoom forum. After joining this subset of the DooM community in July of 2009, he became infamous for terrible puns, sarcastic remarks, low fool tolerance, and occasional tidbits of coding help.

His name was derived from two sources: The protagonist's weapon in the later Commander Keen games, and his baffling mental state. Most of his various nicknames are variations on the initials N. S.

His best friends in this community are Ghastly and DavidPH.

He regularly communicates with the forum moderators, and is part of a secretive plot to seize control of the forum, spearheaded by wildweasel ^{[citation needed]}.

He is also a junior administrator on the Realm667 forum, a position which largely involves the killing of spambots. He still (occasionally) looks through new submissions and snidely mocks them gives constructive advice, as he has always done.

NS is an experienced Decorate coder, and has done a disproportionate amount of modding for the number of actual projects he has released. (The only one of note is an unfinished and wildy unbalanced Hexen mod, which he wishes to pretend never happened.) He collaberated on a Skulltag project called GTX, which was released as a beta to gauge public reaction. It was met with a resounding "..." and the project leader has since moved onto other, more successful things.

To this date, NS's one successful, completed contribution to the community is a Heretic-style artifact called the Morph Cheddar. It is not featured in any project to date that he is aware of, but is available for use on the Repository.

This user is considered (deprecated) and should not be utilized in projects.

His other interests include:

• Old games.
• Music (which he has dabbled in).
• Capitalizing the D and M in "Doom", when referring to the game.
• Planning big projects that never get anywhere.
• Randomly pressing the wrong keys and buttons.
• Using the word "though" a lot. This isn't that bad, though.
• Occasionally speaking about himself in the third person, usually in an insulting manner. What a dork.
• Making lists.
• Editing old things.

He tends to emphasize a few points as particularly important:

• Try to get on the moderators' good side.
• Use ZDoom or GZDoom's most recent dev build] for best results.
• Format your code properly. Capitalization, indentation, grouping, and consistency are keys to readability.
• Heretic is not a "fantasy Doom clone", and those who believe it is are worthy of ridicule.
• He is not a troll for speaking the truth when the listener doesn't like it.
• "XD" is a valid indicator of an actual facial expression. Deal with it.
• Quake sucks.
• The recipe for the Swiss roll was actually delivered to man directly by an angel.
• He isn't that funny, as evidenced by this page.
